Support Notes > Strong Passwords
A strong password is as long as possible and consists of random letters and numbers.
Always use at least six characters in your password. The longer the password, the
more difficult it is to break.
Strong passwords:
Have both upper and lower case letters.
Have numbers and/or punctuation characters as well as letters.
Are easy to remember so they do not have to be written down.
Are seven or eight characters long.
Can be typed quickly so someone else cannot look over your shoulder
(shoulder surfing) and learn it.
Password tips:
Get creative with mixing numbers and letters and invent your own secret
password like this s3cReT pAs5w0rD.
Do not use the default password “password”.
Do not use words from the dictionary in any language.
Do not use any names or information easily obtained about you.
Do not use the “remember my password” or “save password” function.
Use a different password for every account you have.
Keep your passwords secure:
Do not write your password down or store it on your computer.
Never give your password to anyone.
Change your password periodically and change it immediately if you suspect that someone has guessed it.
