Support Notes > How To Make Safari Easier To Use
Safari is Apple's web browser and below lists several things you can do to make it easier to use. Before attempting the steps below you need to open Safari.
1. Click on the top menu bar View > Show Status Bar. The status bar is handy to have because it gives you status information when loading and looking at web sites.
2. Click on Safari > Block Pop-Up Windows. By unticking this function will ensure all windows are opened when you browse web sites.
3. Click on Safari > Preferences...
Under General, change the Home page to http://www.google.ca/
This will ensure the english version of Google opens instead of the chinese version.
Under AutoFill, untick all entries. By doing so you will not be prompted for the Keychain when you access password protected web sites or sites containing forms. |
