In 2007 the IT department implemented a new format for printer names across the whole school in an effort to make it easier to indentify where and what each printer is.

1425A–BW-Xerox-N2025

1425A refers to the printer location.
BW refers to black and white. If this printer was color it would say "Color".
Xerox refers to the make of the printer.
N2025 refers to the model of the printer.

Please remember to always check the paper size is A4 before you print anything.
